Football NSW has officially announced the Grand Final venues for all its competitions for season 2014.
The IGA National Premier Leagues NSW Mens 1 venue will take place at Sydney United 58 FC’s home ground, Sydney United Sports Centre on Sunday 14th of September. The synthetic surface at Edensor Park has been well received by many players and fans alike since its transformation from grass in 2013. The venue will also play host to the NPL 2 Youth Grade finals (12s-15s) on Saturday 20th of September.
Lambert Park will host the NPL Womens 1 Grand Final (13s-1st Grade) on Sunday 7th September. Home of the APIA Leichhardt Tigers, like Sydney United 58 FC, the Tigers this season had its venue redeveloped with a new synthetic field along with lights as well as new amenities, change rooms and storage all receiving a makeover in Sydney’s Inner West. The venue will also stage the Regional League Grand Finals on Sunday September 14 as well as the Mens State League 1 final to be held on Sunday 21st of September.
Hawkesbury City FC’s Bensons Lane will stage the Mens State League Two Grand Final on Sunday 24thAugust while Blacktown Football Park, home to the Blacktown Spartans, will have its synthetic surface used for the NPL 1 Youth Grand Finals on Saturday 13th of September. Blacktown City FC’s synthetic surface of Lily’s Football Centre will play host to the SUPA IGA NPL NSW Mens 2 Finals on Sunday 21st of September while Mt Druitt Town Rangers’ Popondetta Park will host the NPL Womens 2 Grand Final on Sunday 14th of September. Finally, Bankstown City FC’s Jensen Park has won the right to stage the Womens State League Grand Finals on Sunday 21st of September.
